Job description

Finance Analyst

My client who is a market leader in the automotive industry are looking to add a Finance Analyst to their team who possesses the ability to sufficiently provide insight through data led decisions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the organisation's growth by delivering timely, accurate, and insightful data and management information products and services. The position supports the business in meeting industry Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provides a comprehensive understanding of business operations and success factors.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing data and MI to guide decision-making
  • Developing solutions to enhance data and MI delivery
  • Reviewing and auditing data for accuracy
  • Addressing ad-hoc data requests from across the organisation
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new reporting systems
  • Collaborating with other team members

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, macros, and advanced functions
  • Basic commercial modelling experience
  • Fundamental business partnering skills
  • Ability to produce and present accurate reports and dashboards
  • Basic analytic skills applicable to commercial issues
  • Organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic experience in budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reporting
  • Familiarity with SQL or similar programming languages
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent academic qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of Tableau or Salesforce
