  • Hybrid working: The role can be based out of any of the following locations: London, Salford, Birmingham, Bristol or Cardiff

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be joining the clients Technology and Media Operations team, where you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of resource scheduling at one of the world's most respected media organisations.

We're modernising and simplifying systems across HR, Learning, and Resource Scheduling platforms. You'll be instrumental in delivering transformation through a large-scale programme with meaningful impact across editorial, commercial and technical departments.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll lead the Business Analysis and System Design work stream within the Resource Scheduling Programme. You'll collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure solutions meet business goals, working closely with stakeholders at all levels to deliver standardisation, modernisation, and operational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across a major programme.
  • Gather, define, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate across disciplines to ensure shared understanding.
  • Translate complexity into actionable insights and solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to shaping BA best practices.
  • Drive change and help deliver tangible business benefits through effective planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

About You - Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior BA on large-scale programmes.
  • Expertise in Resource Scheduling products and Change Management.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, IT or related field.
  • Skilled in process mapping, requirements engineering, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience of working with technical delivery teams and software product management.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems and work effectively under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications

  • ECBA / CCBA / BCS CBAP certification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in media or complex multi-national environments.
  • Familiarity with tools and practices for business process improvement and benefits realisation.
