Job description
Partnering with a Global Real Estate company to find a Commercial Management Accountant. This is a fantastic role with plenty of opportunity for growth and development.
Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office
Location: City of London
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
What can you expect?
Client Finance:
- Build strong relationships with client operational and finance teams.
- Prepare client reports with insightful financial commentary.
- Assist in compiling annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Prepare and post journals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.
- Conduct variance analysis, providing insights into financial performance and key drivers.
- Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to identify savings opportunities and meet financial targets.
- Support monthly accruals reporting to client finance teams.
Internal Finance:
- Provide financial support and expertise to the account.
- Deliver value-added commentary alongside standard financial reports.
- Work with the Finance Contract Manager on baseline and savings tracking.
- Assist in preparing internal budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Ensure finance procedures are followed, addressing issues as needed.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
What can you bring?
- Qualifications: A-levels or degree (or equivalent), part/finalist qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (desirable).
- Skills: Strong Excel (lookups & pivots essential), highly numerate, organised, and excellent communication.
- Experience: Financial reporting in a fast-paced environment, multi-country/divisional business exposure, and senior stakeholder reporting.
- Aptitude: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable under pressure, and strong teamwork & problem-solving skills.
