Job description
A well-known public sector organisation based in London is seeking to recruit a SAP Business Change Lead who has S/4 Hana experience for a contract running until April 2026. This role will require the contractor to be on site 3 days per week in London and is paying £600/day outside IR35.
As part of a new SAP implementation, the SAP Business Change Lead is an integral role for the organisation. This role will focus on both the technical but also people / culture / organisational change side - it is important you have clear experience with people, cultural and organisational change and that is evident in your CV across a SAP S/4 Hana programme.
Must have strong SAP S/4 Hana experience as a Finance Change Manager on the people / cultural side also.
Key Duties and Responsibilities entail:
- Delivery of the Change Strategy: tailoring and specifying technical implications prior to go live to help in the delivering plans for managing change across the organisation.
- .Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholder expectations, addressing concerns and providing updates to ensure their alignment with the change objectives. Establish mechanisms for receiving and acting on stakeholder feedback to the technical teams.
- Development and Readiness of the Change Network: Support the build and development of a change network, including training, workshops and communications, when required.
- Business Impact Assessment: Working with analysts and communications to meaningfully articulate the change on people, processes, and technology. Outlining and managing the benefits realisation and value propositions
- Engagement: Working with the Communications Lead to ensure communications are applicable to the audience and that they reach and are understood by all affected parties.
- Change Coaching: Develop and deliver change specific coaching/training within functions to ensure they have the right skills and behaviours to enable the change. Ensure employees are prepared for and engaging with any technical training provided.
- Monitor Readiness: Responsible for the determination and assessment of stakeholder readiness - addressing any gaps. Track milestones and adjust plans based on progress and feedback.
- Oversee Transition Plans: Work with business teams to ensure smooth handover of new processes or systems into daily operations.
- Mitigate Risks: Identify and address potential obstacles to successful change adoption.
Key skills required:
- Prosci or equivalent change qualification.
- Relevant experience in delivering finance transformation, on a SAP S4/Hana programme.
- Good working knowledge of SAP S/4Hana.
- Experience of successfully managing change, change impact assessments and change benefits to ensure change readiness at multiple levels.
- Experience of analysing the change training and communication requirements for key stakeholders.
- Experience of engaging with stakeholders to define training needs at a range of levels and their implications for learning.
- Experience of engaging with stakeholder to define communications at a range of levels to enable effective change.
- Knows how to manage change using ADKAR methodology.
- Knows how to identify the impacts of change across a complex organisation with multiple levels of stakeholders.
- Experience of working with system integrators and SMEs within a Finance transformation.
This is a busy operational role where you will be fully involved with all levels of stakeholders across the organisation.
